The Appointments sub-category in Life Admin is a calm, dedicated home for every booking that isn't your repeating parenting schedule — GPs, specialists, dentists, school events, parent-teacher interviews, lawyer meetings, mediations, family birthdays, anything you need to show up for.
Where to find it Open Bloom → **Life Admin** → **Appointments**.
What you can log
For each appointment: - Title (e.g. "Mila — orthodontist") - Date and time - Location and contact details - Which child / family member it relates to - Notes (referral info, what to bring, questions to ask) - Reminder lead time
How it surfaces on Life Admin
Appointments don't live only on this page — the next several appointments automatically appear on your Life Admin home dashboard, with anything in the next 7 days highlighted. You don't have to remember to check; the dashboard surfaces it.
Why a dedicated appointments view
- You'll stop double-booking. When parenting nights, work shifts, and appointments all live in the same brain, things collide. A shared view stops that.
- Less mental rehearsal. "Don't forget Thursday at 3" is a tax on your week. Logged appointments with reminders remove it.
- Co-parenting clarity. Pair appointments with the parenting calendar to see who's on duty for school pickup the day of an orthodontist appointment.
How to use it well
- Log appointments the moment they're booked, while the details are in front of you.
- Set reminders a day ahead for anything you need to bring something to (forms, referrals, payment).
- Add notes — "ask about referral to ENT" or "bring Medicare card" — so you don't arrive empty-handed.
- Review the Life Admin dashboard every Sunday evening to scan the week ahead.
