About Bloom
Bloom is an independent Australian project. It exists because the mental load of separated parenting is enormous — and most of the tools out there are designed for lawyers, not for the parent quietly keeping a family running at 10pm on a Tuesday.
Bloom was started by an Australian single parent navigating the same things our community is navigating: custody schedules, Centrelink paperwork, child support questions, school pickups, shared expenses, and the quiet emotional weight of doing it all while holding a family together.
What was missing wasn't another co-parent communication app — those already exist, and many of them assume two parents who want to collaborate inside the same tool. What was missing was a calm, private space for one parent. A place to write things down, keep receipts, track parenting time, and stop carrying everything in your head.
So Bloom was built — slowly, carefully, and with input from real single mums, single dads, and co-parents around Australia.
Separation in Australia is common, expensive, and under-supported. Centrelink, the Child Support Agency, and the family law system are difficult to navigate even on a good day. Most parents end up tracking their lives across notebooks, screenshots, group chats, spreadsheets, and the back of envelopes.
Bloom exists to give that parent one private, organised home for their records — not a courtroom tool, not a communication channel with an ex, just a structured personal record system that respects their time and their privacy.
We design for the parent doing the work — not for lawyers, courts, or the other household.
Your records are yours. No co-parent pairing, no shared accounts, no public profile. Export or delete your data at any time.
Bloom is a personal record-keeping tool, not legal or financial advice. We're upfront about what we are and what we aren't.
Our free guides on Centrelink payments, child support, parenting plans and separation are written for Australian families. They reference official sources (Services Australia, the Department of Social Services, and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia) and are reviewed and updated as policy changes.
Bloom is general information only — not legal, medical, financial, psychological or government advice. Everything we publish is a guide for separated and co-parenting families, and every family situation is different — what works for one household won't suit another. Always seek qualified professional advice (lawyer, mediator, accountant, counsellor or GP) for your circumstances. See our full disclaimer and privacy policy.
